To support young women and girls in generating their livelihood in Indian states, Professional Assistance for Development Action (PRADAN) is implementing a project titled Women Collectives Anchored Integrated Second Chance Education and Vocational Learning Program (SCE Project) with UN Women.
B-ABLE and PRADAN collaborated to implement the program under the employability component to extend its technical support to achieve the program goals.
The key objective of the program is to empower young women and adolescent girls in the rural economy through Second Chance Education and Vocational Learning with employment linkages. The project started in Dec 2020 in 4 states, 12 districts and we have successfully trained 2880 candidates out of which 500 candidates got placed.
