B-ABLE’s trainings are tailored to the specific demands of the industry/sectors and the local skills needs. Therefore, the mobilization activities focus on the need of employers in each area by undertaking a needs-assessment. The assessment further includes the needs and interests of the learners. The counselors assist prospective trainees to select the courses on the basis of their aspirations.
The organization mobilizes the prospective trainees by reaches out to them through several channels. It partners with grassroots organizations and practices community mobilization including communicating with educational and other local institutes. B-ABLE contacts local government officials and community stakeholders to spread awareness regarding courses. In rural areas, village heads/ Sarpanchs are involved to spread awareness about various skilling programs. Further marketing tools such as distribution of leaflets and area specific announcements are also used to provide information on the courses offered.
