Fantry Mein Jaswal is a retired civil servant from Arunachal Pradesh. She joined the Indian Revenue Service (Customs and Central Excise) in 1976 and rose to the level of Chief Commissioner of Customs and Central Excise. As Director General (Systems) she successfully handled the onerous responsibility of developing and maintaining the entire IT infrastructure of the Customs, Central Excise and Service Tax departments. Before her superannuation, she achieved the position of Commissioner, in field and with Directorates in Customs and Central Excise. In 2003 she was honored with the President of India Commendation Certificate for a distinguished record in service. In August 2012, she was appointed as the Chairperson of the 2nd Arunachal Pradesh State Finance Commission.
With over 20 years of experience in SRF, Roop Salotra is credited with taking proactive steps to prevent further Climate Change and promote Sustainable Development of the organizations. He is a graduate in Mechanical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology. Prior to joining SRF, he worked in Fenner (India) Ltd. He is the Chairman of the Northern Region of the Indian Chemical Council, the apex association for the entire chemical industry. He is also a member of the National Committee on Chemicals: 2009-10, and Core Group of CII Study on China. He acted as a supporter of the Indian Government in the negotiations of the protocols.
Mr. Mehmood Khan is one of the independent directors of B-ABLE. He is an Alumnus of IIM Ahmedabad and graduates in Agriculture. He has 39 years of experience including 27 years in Unilever in various International positions, with postings in India, Singapore, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom. He retired as Global Leader of Unilever Innovation Process, London in 2009. He is the Founder President of the IIM Network in Europe and is a Managing Trustee of the Rasuli Kanwar Khan Trust, which is transforming lives in rural Mewat. He was nominated as Person of the Year 2009 by Forbes India and was awarded NRI Bharat Samman Award in Jan 2011. Mr. Khan’s areas of expertise include Leadership, Education for all, Water solutions, Entrepreneurship and employment generation, Governance, Globalization, Innovation, Sustainability, Collaboration and Co-creation, Creativity and Imagination. He holds a unique distinction of having provided Consultancy to McKinsey, Boston Consultancy, Booz Allen Hamilton, Bain & co, besides a large number of organizations in private, public and voluntary sectors in the areas of his expertise. He gets invited to speak on public platforms regularly.
In the team of Board of Directors, Mr. Muralaidharan Thyagarajan is presently the independent director of B-ABLE. He has worked in the field of talent acquisition and set up the TMI Group, one of India’s largest HR services companies. He has been elected as a Member to the National Board of MSME and has also authored India’s first book on Job Counselling – An Experts Guide to Your Right First Job which has gone into the third reprint within 3 months of release.
Mr Prem Das Rai is the Former Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha) and Currently, he serves as SDF spokesperson and is active in politics. He also holds the respected title of Former Deputy Chairman of the State Planning Commission, Govt. of Sikkim, and has also chaired Sikkim Industrial Development and Investment Corporation. He is a founding Governing Council member of the Integrated Mountain Initiative (IMI).
