The most prestigious projects in Skill Training space, under Skill India Mission. PMKK is MSDE’s initiative towards the creation of standardized infrastructure for delivering skill development training which is equipped to run industry-driven courses of high quality with a focus on employability. Around 350 PMKKs are already functional in the country.
The Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) intends to establish visible and aspirational Model Training Centres (MTCs) in every district of the country. NSDC is the implementation agency for the project. The centre will set up new opportunities for the youth and is a solid step towards making India the skill capital of the world.
B-ABLE has been allotted 11 PMKK centres in the following states: Gujarat, Assam, Uttar Pradesh, and Bihar & Maharashtra. The total candidates enrolled for the project are 2,797 in the sectors: Healthcare, Electronics, Automotive, Construction, Logistics, IT-ITeS, Capital Goods, Domestic, Life Science, and Plumbing.
