“Seekho aur Kamao (Learn & Earn)” scheme was launched by the Ministry of Minority Affairs in the year 2013-14, aims to upgrade the modern and traditional skills of minority youth depending upon their qualification, present economic trends and market potentials, which can serve them to earn suitable employment or equip them with suitable abilities to become an entrepreneur.
BASIX Academy for Building Lifelong Employability Limited (B-ABLE) empaneled with Ministry Minority Affairs in 2013, intending to implement the Seekho aur Kamao scheme in different parts of India.
During 8 years of journey with the Ministry of Minority Affairs, B-ABLE has upskilled 3977 desired aspirants from 7 different states in several market-ruling domains. The company succeeded in generating livelihood opportunities for the minority youths by placing 73% of total trained candidates in different institutions.
Apart from fastening employment opportunities, B-ABLE has empowered 47 women entrepreneurs intending to promote them towards having an independent entity.
B-ABLE has acknowledged the abilities and obstacles of the minority community and sprouted ambitious moves to intensify the Indian workforce.
