School Programme

It is a vocational education structure organised for government schools wherein a series of levels of knowledge, skills and aptitude graded from one to ten, are inculcated in students.

The primary goal of this system is “Vocationalisation” of Secondary Education by incorporating employability training into School Education which corresponds with B-ABLE’s goal to make the students sufficiently productive so they can have all skills which make them employable after completion of their secondary education.

The model entirely funded and initiated by MHRD and supported by state government. Hence it is a joint initiative of Government of India and state to improve vocational skills in the country which is operated within the National Skills Qualifications Framework (NSQF).

The school operations are taken care of by the government and the vocational skills program is introduced without disturbing the regular classes and is smoothly aligned with them. The plan is to cover the students at four-levels hence the vocational training is being imparted to students of 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th standard.

The students are provided with 400 hours of this combined practical and classroom training and a compulsory assessment at the end of each year has to be taken by the candidates which is conducted and certified by the Sector Skill Council of the respective trades.  Sector Skill Councils are set up as autonomous bodies responsible for setting up of Occupational Standards, ensure quality execution, certify trainees
