BASIX Academy for Building Lifelong Employability Ltd (B-ABLE) is part of BASIX which is a social enterprise group established in 1996 for promoting sustainable livelihoods.
B-ABLE established in 2009, with the purpose of skilling people, enhancing livelihoods and transforming lives. It is a pioneer organization in the field of skill development and vocational training with distinction of being the first training partner of the National Skills Development Corporation (NSDC). Since 11 years of extensive work, B-ABLE has implemented training programs across 28 states of India in various sectors including Health care, Agriculture, Apparel, Automotive, Beauty & Wellness, Construction, Handicraft, IT/Its, Retail, Rubber, Telecom, Textile, Tourism & Hospitality, Domestic Worker, Power, Electronics, etc. as well as experience of different types of special training program on personality development, financial literacy, behavioural skills and communication skills. During this period the organization has conducted training in more than 135 different types of job roles and has trained over 3 lacs candidates.
B-ABLE is a subsidiary of BASICS Limited (http://www.basixindia.com), the pioneering organisation in micro-finance and livelihood promotion. BASIX Group was established in 1996 to address the need for livelihood holistically by providing services through its 12 group companies in three major areas i.e. Livelihood Promotion Services, Financial Inclusion Services and Knowledge Services. B-ABLE provides for skill development in BASIX mission of promoting livelihood. which has its presence in 20 states and working with over 2.5 million stakeholders, through its team of over 8,000 people across 27,000 villages.
