The school program is a vocational education structure, designed to provide trade-specific knowledge and skills to the students of government schools. It comes under the Centrally Sponsored Scheme to vocationalize secondary and higher secondary education by implementing the National Skill Qualification Framework (Level 1 to level 4). The program originates under The National Council of Vocational Education and Training (NCVET).
The primary goal of this program is the “Vocationalization” of secondary education by introducing employability and entrepreneurial training into school education. The vision of the scheme corresponds with B-ABLE’s goal to make the students sufficiently productive so, they can acquire market-relevant skills, which lead them to grown employable after the completion of their secondary education.
