B-ABLE seeks to create an innovative, sustainable model for building a high quality skilled workforce – both in the unorganized and the organized sectors. It provides market-driven, aspiration-based vocational education and training using technology and partnerships. B-ABLE will create a virtuous circle of skilled workers and entrepreneurs mostly from the disadvantaged sections of society, through a system of supporting the youth with education and enterprise loans, and also providing effective real time connects between the job providers and job seekers.


The dynamics of employment are fast changing. The employers today are looking for skills more than the knowledge. For youth to be employable, it is important that they enhance their knowledge with relevant skills because at the end of the day it is their skill that will fetch them a job.

Youth make up 25 per cent of the global working-age population; yet their share in total unemployment is 40 per cent. Young people are almost three times more likely to be unemployed as adults. Disadvantaged young people are at higher risk of marginalization and social exclusion than other youth.

Skills development is a primary means of enabling young people to make a smooth transition to work. A comprehensive approach is required to integrate young women and men in the labour market, including relevant and quality skills training, labour market information, career guidance and employment services, recognition of prior learning, incorporating entrepreneurship with training and effective skills forecasting. Improved basic education and core work skills are particularly important to enable youth to engage in lifelong learning as well as transition to the labour market.

Skill Training for WOMEN

The women need vocational training or skills to be able to stand on their own feet and become earning members for their families.

Skill development for women  is a key to improve household productivity, income generating opportunities and employability. It also helps them to develop a sense of self worth and ability to take control of their own lives. Our society can be benefitted only, when women will get respect with their rights.

Skill Training for TRANSGENDERS

The prime objective of the project is to assist transgender in improving their existing skills to live a better life and to get more social acceptance and recognition. Seeking to change the lifestyle of the transgenders, B-ABLE thought of providing skill development training to transgender Community people to facilitate self-employment.

The objective of these training programs is Skill Development and Capacity Building of transgender persons who have so far been looking for employment and those who have lacked proper guidance. This initiative is an initiation to better assimilate the transgender persons in employment with the expectation that discrimination and the dishonor attached to being transgender fades away in the society. Along with the se tor specific training participants are trained on various life coping skills and personality development like problem solving, decision making, critical thinking, relationship building and work place etiquette among many other skills. The participants are assisted towards building self-confidence and self-esteem necessary to face the challenges at a work place.

B-ABLE has recently done a project on skilling transgender community in Kolkata, West Bengal. Training is provided to get in depth theoretical and practical knowledge on beauty and wellness course. In the beginning of the course transgender were little hesitant to continue with the training program due to the stigma attached to their gender status. However, as the course continued they found themselves confident and enthusiastic with the course material and session plan.

Skill Training for DISABLED

B-ABLE is committed to create a robust & vibrant ecosystem for quality skill training aligned appropriately to meet the diverse needs of skill development for Persons with Disability in the country because every human being though born different, each has the ability to dream and disability is not a barrier to achieve their goals. We aspire for a successful endeavor for PwD by addressing the skilling gap, providing right tools and work environment to effectively perform their jobs. B-ABLE offer persons with disability (PwD), a meaningful, industry relevant, skill based training to enable them to earn a livelihood and lead a life of dignity; thus, focusing on making available, the untapped labour talent pool of persons with disability (PwD).

PwDs represent the single largest minority group, looking for employment in today’s market and face a number of barriers to inclusion, arising out of lack of understanding of their needs and overlooking the fact that as citizens of this Country they enjoy equal rights. B-ABLE has done a mile stone project under Simon India for PwD candidates.

Skill Training for DOMESTIC WORKERS

It is foregone conclusion that Skill and knowledge are the driving forces of economic and social development of any country.  The challenge is not merely of preparing more skilled manpower, but also of ensuring employable skills with the view to fill the skill gaps in the industry, whether manufacturing, or service. While there is shortage of skilled manpower in a number of sectors, in Domestic Workers Sector, it is more so. As such concerted effort to develop skills in this sector is inescapable. While India plans to skill 500 million by 2022, Domestic workers sector skill council has a mission of training 25 million in this sector by 2025. DWSSC is systematically and in sustained manner developing the very scaffolding on which our mission shall be achieved. The scaffolding includes the Training Partners, Assessment Bodies & certification of trainers and assessors with a view to build a strong, sustainable, maintainable &  a lasting structure.

B-ABLE DomesteQ provides professional staff and impart training that help enhance skills and prodectivity   significantly of your existing staff. The first of its kind in India, the company was started under the name DomesteQ in 2007, catering primarily to supplying documented and verified manpower for domestic sector. We aim to facilitate you with the most resourceful and reliable household services.

Skill Training for SCHOOL CHILDREN

In general education scenario students get the information about the various subjects and understand the concepts only, but unable to learn practical knowledge and industrial skills which is require for successful career and employment. They are unable get job without doing technical course after completing the general education in the schools.

Students from marginalized family are unable to go for higher studies after schooling, and they keep on struggling for employment due to lack of technical skills. After observing the demand and supply in industrial sectors, B-ABLE is offering a platform for students to enhance their skills in the selected sectors in which they want to build their career. One of B-ABLE’s specific teams is working towards Centrally Sponsored Scheme for Vocationalisation of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education-CSSVSHSE. The Project is for the students of Class 9 to Class 12. The four years is divided into two years each-Class 9 & 10 and Class 11 & 12. In the four years, students are trained in diverse job roles.
