Meghalaya Information Technology Society (under Information Technology and Communication Department, Government of Meghlaya) and B-ABLE has signed an MoU in 2016 to provide and deliver training to the participants and making them capable in assisting MITS, Government of Meghalaya. B-ABLE is successfully imparting training in ITES & BPO sectors under MITS program.
Microsoft Digital Literacy Standard Curriculum consisting of five courses i.e. Computer Basics, the Internet & the World Wide Web, Productivity Programs, Computer Security & Privacy, Digital Life Sciences is delivered under this program.
Till now B-ABLE has trained 831 candidates under MITS program. The Meghalaya Skill Development Framework document strives to convey the Skills Development vision of the country. It attempts to portray the vision and aspirations of the state level stakeholders in empowering the youth and the less fortunate section of the society through Skill Development. It also depicts the structured approach of the state through the concerned stakeholders, linking the state’s resources to skills gap in the state and national level through competent private training providers of national and local capacities.
