Sushil Ramola is a co-promoter and Chairman of B-ABLE. He also founded Due North, an integrated community-led village tourism initiative to provide nature & cultural experience. He is a chemical engineer & IIM Ahmedabad alumnus. He has 33 years’ of experience in planning,setting up,leading innovation & performance driven organizations in India, USA & Middle East in both manufacturing & service sectors. He is former President & CEO of SRF Limited, a Deming Prize winning company. He has been on board of international companies & on the National Committees of CII on CSR & Industry-NGO partnerships. Currently he is on the boards of a few NGOs, such as Central Himalayan Environment Association, Blind Relief Association & SRF Foundation.
Mr. D. Sattaiah worked with BASIX Group in various senior capacities and presently the Chief Operating Officer of BASIX Group. He is also CEO and MD of BASIX Academy for Building Lifelong Employability Limited. Over 18 years of tenure with BASIX, he has contributed to micro-credit operations, micro-insurance operations and setting up of Corporate Human Resource Departments. He also served Bhartiya Sumruddhi Finance Ltd; India’s pioneering Microfinance Company as Head CHR. He is done Masters of Business Administration from Osmania University. He was even associated with SETWIN during 1990 – 1993 in offering massive programs in employment promotion. Started his career as field executive he is now serving as CEO of the prominent companies.
Fantry Mein Jaswal is a retired civil servant from Arunachal Pradesh. She joined the Indian Revenue Service (Customs and Central Excise) in 1976 and rose to the level of Chief Commissioner of Customs and Central Excise. As Director General (Systems) she successfully handled the onerous responsibility of developing and maintaining the entire IT infrastructure of the Customs, Central Excise and Service Tax departments. Before her superannuation she achieved the position of Commissioner, in field and with Directorates in Customs and Central Excise. In 2003 she was honored with the President of India Commendation Certificate for distinguished record in service. In August 2012, she was appointed as the Chairperson of the 2nd Arunachal Pradesh State Finance Commission.
Anoop Kaul has over 35 years of rich experience in Banking and Financial sector in India, including non-farm sector and rural banking. He has an experience in training, research; management and faculty development in the banking sector. In BASIX he is recognized as Senior Advisor, Livelihoods, who deals with Banks, Government Departments, and NGOs.
Presently Mr. Mehmood Khan is one of the independent directors of B-ABLE. He is an Alumnus of IIM Ahmedabad and graduate in Agriculture. Mahmood is the Managing Trustee of Rasuli Kanwar Khan Trust, undertaking multiple social initiatives in Mewat region. Mahmood was the Former Global Leader of Innovation Process, Unilever, UK.
In the team of BODs, Mr. M. Thyagarajan is presently the independent director of B-ABLE. He has worked in the field of talent acquisition and set up the TMI Group, one of India’s largest HR services company. He has been elected as a Member to the National Board of MSME and has also authored India’s first book on Job Counselling.
With over 20 years of experience in SRF, Roop Salotra is credited with taking proactive steps to prevent further Climate Change and promote Sustainable Development of the organizations. He is a graduate in Mechanical Engineering from National Institute of Technology. Prior to joining SRF, he worked in Fenner (India) Ltd. He is the Chairman of Northern Region of Indian Chemical Council, the apex association for the entire chemical industry. He is also a member in National Committee on Chemicals: 2009-10, and Core Group of CII Study on China. He acted as supporter for the Indian Government in the negotiations of the protocols.
