    OM HARI contacted BASIX Academy for Building Lifelong Employability after learning that there was a CNC training available at B-ABLE Opsan Angira Centre, a renowned CNC Centre

    in NCR region with recommendable training and placement record. Om from Vill- Mundera, District Kushinagar (U.P.) had a small shop there, from which he earned his livelihood. After completing this 60 days training from B-ABLE he initially started earning from 7500/- pm  now getting 12000+. Presently he is working as Machining Asst. at Munjal Showa Ltd. Manesar. Om is so pleased and thankful for the training which he had attained via B-ABLE.

    He expressed, ‘This CNC training gave a great hike to my income and now I am able to invest in savings also. I am taking better care of my child and suggesting my other friends too to take this training from B-able Opsan Angira CNC Training Centre Panchgaon Manesar’.

    The centre is achieving 100% placement record from last two years. Candidates here get free training, lodging and placement. This is a CSR program funded by Nalanda Foundation. Candidates get mobilized from diverse states like Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Uttrakhand, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Delhi NCR and more to pursue this two months course. A hardworking team comprises of core persons Mr.Naresh Kumar-Centre Manager, Mr. Kuldeep Singh-Project Manager and Mr. Bhagwan Pandey-Project Co-ordinator works for the success of this project and creating livelihood for others.

    Previously Rani Bano had a small tailoring shop but the earnings were not enough. She decided to become an EyeMitra Optician. Her family members were not sure about this business. After 2 months of training, she started her optical business and now she feels even more confident and financially secure.. After becoming EyeMitra in 2016 sheis now earning Rs 10,000 to  Rs 12,000 monthly.

    Asad is a small town boy from Khatakheri village of district Uttarakhand. His father is an auto rickshaw driver at Roorkee and average monthly income is 7000. He has three siblings younger to him. Whole family was reliant on his father’s income. It was quite hard to survive for the whole family with this income. To support his family Asad left his education and worked as a helper with BMW vendor and earned Rs. 4500 for eight hours. He had to support his family with this income and self also. He came to know about scheme through his cousin who is working at Delhi and subsequently he joined the course. Initially he got placement at Ask Automobiles then he approached B-ABLE to find another job for him. To help Asad, B-Able with its efforts has made another employment available to him. His communication and interview skills were not up to the mark. B-ABLE has trained him and incorporated him with the interview skills and techniques and made him clear the job interview. After his successful training Md. Asad is now well placed as CNC operator/machine technician in Kapros at Bhiwadi and earning around 12,000 rupees per month. To offer a surprise gift of twenty thousand rupees to his father on this EID he has started saving the amount with the help of his present earnings. His savings will surely be a great help to the family.

    Bahadur Singh basically belongs to rural background. His father is a farmer and nobody in his family had the confidence to start a business. He was very uncertain about his and his family future. He is very happy with his decision to receive training from B-ABLE EyeMitra Training Centre, Udaipur and become an eyemitra optician in 2016. Now he is earning  Rs 12000/- to Rs 15000/ and contributing towards the family income. Everybody in the family proud of him.

    Life was never easy for Nitin but his commitment to support his family has made him successful today. Nitin belongs to Sohagpur village in Madhya Pradesh. His father is a retired workman and earns on an average 6000/- rupees per month as daily wages to run his family of six. After passing out his 12th standard, Nitin had been working as a helper in unorganized sector, earning an average of Rs. 4000/- per month. He came to know about PMKVY Scheme through his friend and without giving a second thought, joined the course. The training under the Scheme was free of cost which offered stability on successful completion of the course and placement. Initially he was placed at ASK Automotive, Karsanpura with a salary of Rs. 8000 and soon with a hike joined as CNC Operator at Shining Engineering Foundry in Rajkot with 12,000 salary. As the only member of his family who has steady earnings, he sends approx. Rs. 7000/- to his father every month after receiving his salary. His income is the biggest help for the family now.

    Amita Chauhan belongs to Koti Gaon, Tikou, Koti, Block Kalsi, District Dehradun. Her father is a farmer and her mother a home maker. After completing her intermediate, she was totally confused what to do next as there was no college for further education in the near by area. Also, her parents are not financially sound to send to Vikas Nagar or Dehradun to join college. One day she came to know about the camp from her community person regarding the intregrated livelihood support project of Uttrakhand Gram Vikas Samiti in which job oriented residential training program is given at Vikas Nagar. She went to camp and taken addmission in BPO course run by Basix Academy For Building Lifelong Employability Ltd. She was selected in Doon Global Organization and ISON ATS BPO. She joined there as an executive.

    Kalyan Jat, a young boy who now sits at the reception of a well-known Hotel in Jodhpur, communicating confidently with guests. Within two months he extended his duty and started managing the restaurant at night. Kalyan’s family had a bad financial condition which forced him to work after class XII. He came to know about B-ABLE through one of his friends and decided to join the Hospitality Assistant Course. His positive attitude makes him believe that his hard work and commitment will surely lead him to the path of success.

    Sushila was born in a big family in Assam. It was difficult for the family to make two ends meet. Sushila was sensitive to the needs of the family and decided to take on the responsibility to support her family. In the year 2004, she took a bold step to travel all the way to Delhi to find a suitable job. This was not easy as not only was the city new to her but also the language and the people. With great difficulty she managed to get part-time jobs in several houses. This went on for about 4 years but Sushila was not satisfied. She knew she had the capacity to do much more. She came to know about ‘Domesteq’ and enrolled herself in a ‘Novice Training’ course. She learned the basics of good housekeeping, Child care, work ethics and also how to face an interview. She now has a DOM Card and with the help of the Domesteq team she got placed with a family with a salary of Rs 10,000/-per month. She was in touch with the Domesteq team and currently earns around Rs 18,000/- per month.

    Ms. Sheelu Gupta, a graduate picked her occupation as an Eye Mitra Optician and is now moving it with great poise & enthusiasm. She got to know about this program through an advertisement in local newspaper. She was trained by B-ABLE and provided with the necessary tool kits, promotional material and branded products for setting up an enterprise by 2.5 NVG. She was also provided on the Job training for the first 6 months by B-ABLE. During the initial period she faced some start up challenges in the business but after a couple of months things started moving at a smoother pace. Besides working at her shop she also visits nearby villages and provides affordable spectacles to the villagers at their door step.

    She feels very happy to be an independent working woman. At present, her monthly earning is about Rs 10,000 with which she supports her family.

    Jiten is a son of a daily wage earner. In order to support his family he started working as an electrician in a local firm with a daily stipend of Rs 50.After getting enrolled and trained under Hospitality course in Tezpur (Assam) he got placed with The Fern Hotel and started earning Rs 5,500/- with incentives which means a lot for his family.

    Rehmet is from a remote village of Rajasthan and had never seen a life beyond it. The meagre earnings from his father's small agricultural land were not enough to feed the family of 6. His parents sent him to school hoping that someday their son will make them live a life of dignity. But Rehmat was far from understanding the realities. Since Rehmat had nothing much to do, one morning he accompanied a few boys to a nearby village to attend a camp. This is where he came to know about B-ABLE and the various courses being offered. Rehmat showed a keen interest and decided to join the Hospitality Assistant course. He got the job of a waiter in a well-known hotel in Jodhpur. With his neat appearance, well groomed look, confidence and soft spoken skills he gained the goodwill of seniors and colleagues. Within a month and a half of his job, his work has been appreciated and he has already been promised a raise in his salary.
